This project takes about an hour and requires some soldering.
Part List: 30mm EDF Fan - 20Amp ESC - Servo Controller - Project Box LED Switch 12v 6Amp Power Supply - 50mm x 2.5mm Jack - Styrofoam Block Step 1 - Drill 30mm hole in top and bottom of box, centered. Step 2 - Place screen in bottom of box. Step 3 - Cut Styrofoam to fit in box (same size as box). Step 4 - Cut 30mm hole in center of Styrofoam to line up with holes in box. Step 4 - Cut Styrofoam in half and in the middle down 1 side. Step 5 - Place Styrofoam in box and cut holes for switch and 12v jack. Step 6 - Solder ESC to EDF. Step 7 - Remove Styrofoam from box and solder ESC+ and ESC- to switch. Step 8 - Solder 12v jack to switch. Step 9 - Place EDF in middle of 2 Styrofoam pieces. Step 10 - Place Styrofoam with EDF in box putting ESC on inside of box between Styrofoam and box. Step 11 - Cut out spot in top of Styrofoam for servo controller and put in place. Step 12 - Glue rubber booties on bottom of box. Step 13 - Cut 1" x 1" piece of pvc pipe. Step 14 - Sew or iron 1" x 18" fabric into tube man. Step 15 - Put lid on box and secure tube man with rubber band to pvc and place in hole in top of box. 1. Drill holes in the project box for LED Switch (Front Center), 2 LEDs (Front Center), Mono Jack (Left), and Female end of 4 conductor cable (Right) DC Power Jack Socket (Bottom). 2. Follow wiring diagram for soldering connections. 3. Solder 3.5mm Mono jack to float switch. 4. Super glue one magnet to inside of small suction cup. 5. Super glue float switch (wire side down) to pump. 6. Use tubing to connect one way valve to pump. 7. Solder float switch and pump wires to 3.5mm 4con cable. 8. Drill holes in bottom of clear tube and one in cap to fit on pump and fill with activated carbon. Happy Innovating! Here is a build I did to keep my reef aquarium cool in the summer months. The result was a 10 degree improvement which was somewhat disappointing but enough for my tank.
I used an old plastic toolbox as the enclosure. 1. First I cut out a section of the toolbox the size of the cooling plate on the heatsink. 2. Use some glue to attach the heatsink to the enclosure. 3. Attach the peltier chip to the heatsink inside the enclosure. 4. Attach the blue CPU water cooler block to the peltier. 5. Put the power supply in the box and drill a hole for the switch in the front of the box for the on/off switch. 6. Wire in the temperature sensor to the power supply and on/off switch. 7. Install the water pump and wire into the temperature switch. 8. Drill 2 holes in the side of the enclosure for the plumbing to come out of and attach the plumbing to the heatsink and pump. 9. Secure the plumbing in the stainless steel tube. I took 4 solar lights for the garden that were not working for one reason or another. I tested the panels and they all worked so I wired them in pairs. 2 solar cells in series and those 2 series in parallel. This gave me ~3vdc at 300mA. I paired this with a iphone 4 battery backup that has a 3.7vdc 1500mAH battery and a e cig 3.7vdc 1500 mAH battery in parallel. I still need to put a one way diode on here to keep the solar cells from draining the battery in the dark. Then I added a USB female plug as an output directly from the batteries. This should also have a one way diode to prevent reverse charging. After that a switch from the batteries to the 5v to 12v dc step up and a car accessory plug on the other end of the step up. That completes what I have done so far. I will try to upgrade this project in the future.

First I took the 1"x1" post and cut a 1" and .5" slice. Then I attached the 2 pices with a small hindge. Next I used 2 small screws to attached the jumbo paper clips. The trickiest part was drilling the 3 holes at the right angles for the tripod. It is easier to cut the .25" dowling after you put it in the holes. This way you can it evenly and insure a level tripod. The last thing to do was drill a hole in a piece of scrap dowling and put a nail through it on the top piece and let it sit in the clip on the bottom piece. This allows you to look up or down and hold that position. Cheap and easy, hope you enjoy adn kepp innovatiing!

The peanut butter jar contains a 12 steel plate HHO generator that I made. I took a a small sheet of steel and cut into 12 rectangles. Then I used double sided tape to secure the rectangles together. I then connected every other plate to a positive and the opposite every other plate to a negative lead. Fill the jat with water mixed with baking soda to speed the reaction. The positive plates will produce oxygen while the negative plates with produce hydrogen. These gasses mix together to form HHO gas.The gas is then pumped under pressure through the tubing to the inflating needles that have been cut to make burners. Hook up 12v and tinker with the water level and PH of the water and you have a DIY HHO gas burner.
Happy Innovating -J Marcantonio This was a project I started because I love to go fishing on the Chattahoochee river and wanted to spend more time fishing and less time controlling the motor. The concept is easy and used on lots of DIY steering projects. Two strings on each side of the motor when pulled turn the shaft in either direction. A single 12v DC high torque geared motor is used to pull either string depending on the rotation direction of the motor. I used some hard wood treated for marine use to make a mount for the motor. The mount clamps on to the trolling motor mount and can be used for any trolling motor. To control the steering motor and the trolling motor I used a 4 channel relay switched remote control unit from eBay. By setting the control for the steering to on when the button is pressed I can move the trolling motor shaft left by pressing one button and right by pressing another. The trolling motor is turned to its highest setting and pressing the button on the remote closes the relay and supplies power to the motor unit the button is pressed again. I will list the parts for this project below and follow up with some testing notes.

The blog will track my projects and improve the projects through collaboration. Projects that are successful and popular will then be available in kits and prototype versions for sale. If you have a project, please feel free to post it here for the community to help improve or just encourage. Your prototypes or kits that show promise can also be sold here. As this is a new community please share with your friends and promote growth. Happy Innovating! -J Marcantonio
